i've been here since i was a child and this place never fails to keep my stomach happy. a mid-sized kbbq restaurant next to cafe de mama... appearance-wise, it looks like your typical restaurant but this place sells duck meat, which is their specialty. the two great orders here i'd say is the smoked duck and the sliced duck. for the smoked duck, they give you a complimentary noodle stew at the end when you ask the server ladies. for the sliced duck, you get stirred rice at the end! also, their soy bean paste soup was also really good!

The smoke duck is delicious, although I'd like the duck fat between the skin and the meat to render a bit more before serving, but this place comes recommended on the Michelin guide and I'm just a yelp review so what the hell do I know. $216 not including tip for smoke duck and ribeye combo.

This place is soooo delicious. I've been wanting to try a duck bbq place because who doesn't love duck and who doesn't love kbbq? This place super exceeded my expectations. The place is quiet, clean, well lit. The servers are attentively watching for any needs. We got 5 orders of the regular sliced duck bbq and we were stuffed because we forgot there was rice and ddenjjang jigae (probably the best i've had in LA?) and amazing banchan. They also served the duck with a really good dipping sauce but salt was my favorite + grilled asparagus. Highly recommend would return to try other duck offerings! also get the blackberry wine!

Great alternative to your typical meat-filled KBBQ. If you're a fan of duck, this is your spot. Their smoked duck is really good, large portions so order accordingly or come with the right people! The duck is just the first part of it as they bring out a big pot of hot soup, my friends' favorite part. Pair it with a cold beer and soju and it'll surely hit the spot! Small parking lot, but easy to find parking on the street. Came on a weekday for dinner and no wait. You can make reservations I think as well, just in case.

YUMMYYY!! Food was delicious! Came here for a birthday lunch with my family and everything was spot on. The side dishes were great and tasted fresh. We got the ro suh goo we, which is just your duck sliced. They had two types of salad one was with lettuce and one was it leeks which tasted great. And there was a marinated duck which was a little bit more on the fatty side with chopped duck meat not in slices. I love all Korean cool noodles, so it tasted great to me but there is a distinct taste if you like this type of kimchi(shown in pic), flavored in the broth. Everything was spot on and oh, of course, not pictured here, but the fried rice that they give you was sooooo good with the purple rice.

How does this place not have 5 stars? It's one of the top KBBQ restaurants in LA without hesitation. They specialize in duck and if you're a fan of the protein, then this is your jam. Today we visited with 4 big eaters and left satisfied with 2 platters (sliced duck & chopped duck), which came with the Duck Fat Fried Rice. Both were good and you have to let that sliced duck get extra crispy because it's like candy when you do. The chopped duck was our favorite though... tender, juicy, and some pieces were thin enough to crisp up. The service was great. Our server cooked up everything for us and was super sweet. The booths are big and cozy. It was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon. We loved it! ** Parking on the street or they have a small lot in the back. ** Entry is in the back parking lot, not the street side.

The duck was delicious as well as the kimchi fried rice. I would recommend both whole heartedly. The service was prompt and they helped us grill the duck. There is valet in the parking lot which is $3 (June 2023). It is a little small but spacious enough. The ambiance is good. Overall, the duck is really good.

service: good! interior: traditional, with wooden furnitures and cream couches. large tables and seatings available, great for family dinners or gatherings! health and safety: staffs wear masks would you crave for it? DUCK YEAH. personally not a huge fan of duck, however my friend kept hyping about how amazing this restaurant is and how they're known for their duck so I HAD to try it. i loved their side dishes, especially their pickled zucchini, i even requested for more! we ordered their signature roasted and sliced duck and they were mouth-watering. the duck meat had beautiful marbling and were juicy and aromatic! we also had their grilled thin slices of large intestines, not my personal favorite, but they were super chewy and tender! last but not least, their fried rice was what blew me away. the fatty oil from the barbecued duck was collected and later used for the fried rice, making it extremely aromatic. although the restaurant's interior isn't as fancy or well-decorated, the food speaks for itself. try it.

Great little spot to try something different than the regular kbbq. This place is known for their smoked duck so that's a must-have on our first visit. It's pretty expensive ($90) but the portion is good for 3 people. It also comes with a duck noodle soup. We also tried the sliced duck bbq which I like a lot more since it's more crispy; a small portion is $39 which is a bit too expensive for the portion size. Both dishes were delicious and not gamey at all. The banchan is limited but they taste good. We paid about $180 for 2 people with a good amount of leftover. The staff is helpful and very nice. They have their own parking lot but it is small so don't come during crowded dinner time if you don't want to deal with the parking situation.

I was excited about this place because it would be my mom's first time trying a smoked duck dish. She has a very particular palate and does not enjoy food that tastes gamey. However, I assured her that it tasted nothing like a duck but more like bacon. With conviction, I baited her to the restaurant. This Michelin Guide BIB GOURMAND restaurant is a hidden gem in Koreatown. This restaurant has no windows and no entrance at street level; thus impossible to tell the busyness of the restaurant. While Koreatown is saturated with Korean BBQ restaurants selling beef, pork, and chicken, this hole-in-the-wall specializes in duck, underrated poultry with many benefits to your health. What we ordered: SMOKED DUCK (Smoked duck meat with Sweet Potatoes and Duck Casserole) - Come here for a family-style meal. The entree cost was around $95, and the serving was for two. However, based on the portion, I think a group of three is an ideal number. I love eating smoked duck breast with lettuce, marinated chives, and vinegared onions. The dish also comes with two dipping sauces (mustard and sweet soy sauce with ground garlic), which I rotated upon each bite. After finishing the meat, they bring in a large pot with noodles. This casserole was a great item to finish our meal. I was feeling very FULL AND SATISFIED at the end.
